Studio Courses Offered
Dance
Our dance course is a combination of Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Classes are $48.00 a month for this course
Tap
Tap is a style involving rhythm, dynamics, and varying sounds.
Ballet
Students are taught proper body placement, body alignment, barre and center floor work, along with across the floor combinations.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Dancers will learn to express themselves through lyrics and improve their musicality while blending ballet technique with the style of jazz. This is integrated into the ballet style for all classes.
Jazz
Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. They include such elements such as kicks, leaps, and turns.
Hip Hop
High energy class that uses the latest sounds in Rap, R&B, and Pop music together with original movements and groves or steps that have their base in Jazz/Funk.

Shoes required for classes are all black!

Acrobats
A basic gymnastics course that consists of floor tricks. It focuses on building muscle, strength, and flexibility. Cost for this class added to the dance class course is $12.00 a month 30 minute class a week that is before or after your child's dance class. Cannot participate in Acrobats only.
Pre-Pointe
Pre-pointe classes are offered to ballet students, who are not yet on pointe, to further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go on to Pointe. Cost for this class added to the dance class course is $12.00 a month 20 minute class a week that is before or after your child's dance class. Cannot participate in Pre-Pointe only. Must be 11 and must have at least 3 years of dance training. Staff discretion on the participation.
Pointe
An extension classical ballet technique. Dancer must have 3 years of ballet training and a recommendation from teachers.
ost for this class added to the dance class course is $12.00 a month 20 minute class a week that is before or after your child's dance class. Cannot participate in Pointe only. Must be 11 and must have at least 3 years of dance training. Staff discretion on participation.
Broadway
A musical theatre class, which combines jazz technique with other varieties to create Broadway themed musical routines.
ost for this class added to the dance class course is $12.00 a month 20 minute class a week that is before or after your child's dance class. Cannot participate in Broadway only.
Parade/Performance Groups
Students will perform in local parades and performances. 2 parades and 1 stage performance at the first half of the dance year
We participate in Sugar Cane Festival Parade, New Iberia Christmas Parade and Acadian Village at Christmas time.
Daycare Courses
Dance
Our dance course is a combination of Ballet, Jazz, and Acrobats. Taught at Cathys DayCare in New Iberia.
Boy's Tumbling
A basic gymnastics course that consists of floor tricks. It focuses on building muscle, strength, coordination and flexibility.
